I mean, come on: the right has largely become the anti-science party, ranging from actively blocking stem-cell research, denying global warming research, supporting and advancing "teach the controversy" bullshit in schools, and making light of "fruit-fly research" (ala Palin and McCain). <BR/><BR/>Frankly, I think republican scientists are a lot like log-cabin republicans: working against and supporting those who are working against their own interests.
